本次電子刊物主要報導內容為112年9月6日至8日召開的「第22屆APEC企業/私人部門參與海洋環境永續性圓桌會議」內容。呼應本年APEC主辦國美國「為各方創造具韌性且永續的未來」（Creating a Resilient and Sustainable Future for All）主題，以及全球因應氣候變遷與淨零發展趨勢，本會議以「離岸風場開發下之海洋保育發展」與「藍碳經濟發展現況與挑戰」為主題，關注離岸風場開發與海洋生態保育共榮發展模式、海域空間規劃與海洋生態環境影響評估、藍碳對淨零發展目標貢獻，以及提高海洋生態固碳能力等。本會議邀請澳洲、印尼、日本、韓國、泰國及我國等14位專家進行演講與圓桌討論，現場與線上共有來自14個APEC會員體166位代表參與，感謝每位參與者讓會議圓滿成功。

This bulletin mainly covers the 22nd APEC Roundtable Meeting on the Involvement of the Business/Private Sector in the Sustainability of the Marine Environment which was held during 6-8 September 2023. To align with the theme of APEC United States this year, “Creating a Resilient and Sustainable Future for All”, and the global trend toward addressing climate change and net-zero development, the Roundtable Meeting incorporated two topics, namely, “Development of Marine Conservation under Offshore Wind Farm Operations” and “Updates and Challenges of Blue Carbon Economy”, with specific focuses on balance between offshore wind farm development and marine conservation, marine spatial planning and marine ecosystem environmental impact assessment, the potential and contribution of blue carbon to the net-zero development goal, and improving the carbon sequestration capacity for marine ecosystems. The Roundtable Meeting invited 14 experts from Australia, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Thailand, and Taiwan to give speeches and participate in roundtable discussions. A total of 166 attendance from 14 APEC member economies participated in person and online, making the meeting a great success.
