本期刊物報導2022至2025年APEC優先領域暨第21至24屆OFWG會議，以及2025年4月30日至5月1日第五屆海洋部長會議重點，提供各經濟體對於APEC區域發展之願景，實施「小規模漁業及水產養殖路徑圖」、「海洋廢棄物路徑圖」，以及「打擊非法、未報告、未受規範(IUU)漁捕路徑圖」三大路徑圖與推動計畫的情形，並呈現2024年8月27日至28日在台北舉辦的「第23屆APEC企業/私人部門參與海洋環境永續性圓桌會議」討論內容與成果。第23屆圓桌會議以「透過海洋保育追求經濟永續性與韌性」為主題，透過探討保護區之設置與政策規劃，以及沿岸社區發展，期能強化社會韌性與包容性，繼而實踐永續經濟成長。

The APEC Bulletin on Marine Resource Conservation and Fisheries, Volume XXIV reports on key developments in regional cooperation for marine conservation and sustainable growth. This volume highlights:

1. 1. APEC’s priority areas from 2022 to 2025, reflecting a shared vision among member economies for advancing regional development in alignment with sustainability goals;
2. 2. Outcomes of the 5th APEC Ocean-related Ministerial Meeting (AOMM5), held on April 30 to May 1, 2025, including collective commitments to marine resource management and policy coordination;
3. 3. Key discussions and progress from the 21st to 24th APEC Ocean and Fisheries Working Group (OFWG) Meetings, conducted between 2022 and 2025, particularly on the implementation of:
4. (1) Roadmap on Small-scale Fisheries and Aquaculture,
5. (2) Roadmap on Marine Debris, and
6. (3) Roadmap on Combating Illegal, Unreported, and Unregulated (IUU) Fishing. 

In addition, the Bulletin features discussions and outcomes from the 23rd APEC Roundtable Meeting on the Involvement of the Business/Private Sector in Sustainability of the Marine Environment, held in Taipei on August 27–28, 2024. Centered on the theme "Pursuing Economic Sustainability and Resilience through Marine Conservation," the roundtable focused on the establishment and policy planning of marine protected areas and the development of coastal communities, aiming to strengthen social resilience and inclusiveness, thereby contributing to sustainable economic growth.
